Connected, but goes on and off?

I really wanted to start my own radio broadcasting website, and I'm almost 90% done. But there a few problems in my way. I am following this guide: http://www.korokithakis.net/tutorials/icecast?page=8

I have everything set-up, and I have my own server. But when I open up Winamp and I go into DPS/Effect and click on oddcast DSP v3, it leads me to a window similar to this one:



I set up an encoder, and add in all the required details such as hosting, passwords, ports, etc. I click on connect, and it turns the status to connected. But after a few seconds or so, it will go to Disconnecting, Disconnected and then about a second or two later it goes right back to connected, and it's basically doing that in a cycle.

Can anyone please help me with this?

you can't expect a response within two and a half hours as the time between your posts indicates.

as for the issue, really you should be trying to contact the author of the plug-in you're trying to use as we don't generally provide support for 3rd party plug-ins (especially if you're using a non-ShoutCast stack for streaming).
