Shoutcast 1 RIP question
If I enter part of an IP in the reserved IP boxes, will it allow any connection from that section of the IP. I want to reserve for a 10.xx.xx.xx IP, so if I put in 10. and hit enter it responds by putting a 10.0.0.0 in the list. Is that the same as a wild card or should I enter something like 10.255.255.255 to cover that entire subnet?

I *think* that it's single address only (unlike the bans, where you can do a subnet).
So if I'm right, and you need an entire class A reserved, that's a lot of entries. You can write a script to do it, but it might be easier to nail up a second DNAS as a relay and not give it a public address. Give all the 10.x.x.x users that IP to tune in to, and you're probably good to go. |

I thought about having the IT department just close the ports on the firewall, but it would be easier to leave them open if I ever need them again.
