I already have music loaded on my phone
...can't I just tell Winamp where it is? Why do I have to sync with a desktop client?
All of my music is folder organized and exists on my device at: /sdcard/media/music/artist/album/ Isn't there a way to just tell Winamp android where my existing music files are located? |

It found the music I already had on my phone (i have it stored in /sdcard/music/artist/album/) right away. You can have it search too. Does this not work for you?

gah! turns out I had a /.nomedia file in the /sdcard/music/ directory, therefore Winamp ignored it. Since my other player was folders based, I hadn't noticed it before.
