windows 2000 alpha fade

Hi,
Any one know where I can get some code that can fade in windows and set alpha for a windows in windows 2000. Basicly, I need the code or somethig like it thats in the AVS.

well i dont think it would make a difference because i assume it would be a windows API, but the app i'm working on is in VB, saying that any code at all will do.
