Playlist just keeps scrolling

when I double click a song in the playlist it just starts an endless scrolling though the playlist entries without playing anything. What gives?

Do the trax play when you click the "play" & "next" buttons in the main window?

If not, it means you've got a playlist full of dead links.
Basically, this means you've either moved or renamed the actual files that the playlist refers to since the playlist was initially created.

Rt click each entry in playlist-> left click "Playlist Entry"
Type in the correct path & filename for each entry.
Or clear the playlist & create a new one from scratch, via:
Playlist -> Add button -> Add files/Add dir, or drag & drop from Explorer . . . etc.
