Winamp 0.9.2 Beta for Android feedback/bugs
I have HTC HD2 running HTC Desire's Android build. I have downloaded Winamp 0.9.2 Beta from Market place and have to say, it is pretty awesome! It is fast and slick. Especially I like how you included shoutcast search with it.
One thing though, clicking on All Genres in shoutcast doesn't display anything but the rest works pretty good. I even tried playing shoutcast on GPRS connection, and 64k streams are pretty stable. This brings me to a request. I would like to have filter in the search where I can set the max bitrate of the results (no more than...) and also to have AAC+/MP3/Both audio type option. But I'm pretty happy with what it is now, keep up great work! |

Also it would be cool if you include:
Recent Searches menu item that would expire and remove itself from the menu after lets say 1 hour Post to twitter/facebook/... button that would post simple #Nowplaying Band Song Thanks. |

Just wondering, if I save shoutcast .pls file locally I then have an option to launch it with Winamp. If I do so it complains about format even though it is exactly what shoutcast uses. I wonder whether you can play local playlists at all?

Are you getting the Shoutcast search to display aac+ stations? On my Archos 43it the search will not show aac+ stations ever.
Your mileage may vary! |

I don't think I get any AAC+ stations. Would be nice if there was filter.

Search Supermix, if you find one that has Onondaga listed, it is an aac+ station. TuneIn gets all the stations which is what I've been using, I'm told Xiia also works with the Shoutcast YP and aac+ streams.
