EQ settings for opera?
What would people think is good a EQ setting for opera music?
I'd say quite high in the mids... hmm? |

From TSGH > Equalizer Q&A Guide...
Q: Where can I find more presets? Where can I find presets for other genres?I don't know if there are any opera presets from the links. However, after I get home from work today I will work on a opera preset(s) and post it here. |

EQ presets are highly subjective. In other words what one likes as a opera preset may not be liked by another. It will also depend on the computer's audio system.
Try the attached individual preset file. The opera preset has a emphasis on the mid range (for vocals) as you suggested and there is also a little emphasis on the bass. When you download/save the preset, rename it from Opera.txt to Opera.eqf Then when Winamp is running... 1. Click the preset button 2. Load > From EQF... 3. go to the folder/directory when you downloaded the preset and open the preset file If you want you can add that to Winamp's defaults presets. 1. Click the preset button 2. Save > Preset... 3. give it name like Opera or something of your choice and save |

OK, you're welcome. However at the time of this reply the download/view count shows as zero, so I am wondering if you were able to download the file correctly.
