Economic inequality is indeed a huge problem, especially when there's not much difference between a hard-working low-paid person vs. a hard-working high-paid person (or worse yet someone that gets paid a lot that doesn't work all that hard).
I suggest birth control awareness not to tell people not to procreate, but to give them the option and resources necessary if they feel in their own minds that they're not ready to support a family. Someone else's choice to procreate is none of my business in my opinion, but educating people on how that's more choice than chance could help a lot.
