IPv6 Support in Shoutcast 2?
I know that it isn't a HUGE deal right now, but soon I will need to switch my station to Icecast if support is not rolled out for IPv6. Icecast already fully support IPv6. I don't want to switch to Icecast, but I do need my station to be on top of the latest technology trends and soon if I am not on IPv6 then I will lose a lot of my listeners after a year or so.
I would like to be prepared and I know after speaking to a lot of other friends that run stations too that it is something that they are looking forward to. Please consider adding IPv6 support soon so we won't be limited to the legacy internet. Thank you. |
