sync folder

Sorry for all the threads, figured I'd give feedback as I see it. Right now it looks like when syncing, winamp is dumping all of the music into folders by artist into the root directory. I currently have about 50 different artists, and its made my root directory a frigging mess. PLEASE either give us the option to pick a sync folder, or create one (/music or /winamp) so that you aren't making a mess of the root directory of a memory card/the internal memory. This would be unusable if I tried to sync even a small portion of my entire collection to the phone.

There is the option to change where to save music. Under device preferences go to the Advanced tab. Just change the playlist directory and the file name format.

I'll check that out. One other thing I noticed: when you delete songs from the phone, it doesn't clean up folders, it only deletes the MP3's inside them.

All I can find is the "copy to Local Media Filenames" section. Is that what you are talking about? Because that seems like it would affect when I copied music from my phone to my PC. I copied a favorites playlist over which had about 200 artists on it and it's murdered my SD card and I'm having a hard time finding anything else on there. I just want it all to copy to
SD-Card-ROOT:\Media\Music\<Artist>\<Album>\## - <Title>..... This possible somewhere? I don't see the option in the Winamp app on the phone, and it doesn't seem to apply for the preferences on the PC.

I don't think the Advanced tab is available for Wifi sync...

using WiFi sync, can't find a way to direct the files to the folder on the SD card I want them in either, any thoughts...
at least I found the check box to not sync all the songs in my library...

It's there only in the USB mode, there is no tab if you connected your phone via wifi.

I've noticed this too and it's a bit of a pain, because though the files are gone from the phone Winamp still lists those artists and/or albums.
