Help! album problem

I'll start this off by saying I'm very new to winamp and don't really use it on my desktop too much.

My problem is that I tried to make an album for some songs and instead have 19 different albums with the exact same name.

My friend (a former dj) had created a cd of a bunch of different music that he gave to his friends, the only problem is that he didn't format the cd at all so everything was "track 01.. 02..". I went and entered in all the track and artist info (in desktop winamp) and also I edited the album name to Dave's cd. the problem is that when I open winamp on my phone, I go to albums and see 19 different albums called Dave's cd. (all the music was by different artists)

This only appears on my winamp for android not on my desktop client. (I checked and edited the info on the phone too not just the desktop so its not that simple). I am using my external sd card on my samsung captivate if that matters, it shows up as "android" in my desktop (along with another "android" which would be my phones internal storage).

Any help would be appreciated as I would also like to edit in an album name for some other stuff, like I could have one album that I could put all my music under that I get from one site where people create original music.
