Getting msg there are xxx files already on the device which are not in the local"...
When I start the wifi sync with my phone, it first says "there are xxx files already on the device which are not in the local media library" - all files which were just synced. I select the option to delete the files from the device and continue the sync. However, the next time I sync, it gives the same message - thus deleting the files Winamp just put onto the device the last time a synced it.
I'm using Winamp 5.61 (x86) on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. My phone is an HTC Thunderbolt with Android 2.2, running Winamp app 1.0.3.
Maybe unrelated or not, but when I start the sync, it only syncs about 20 to 30 songs before the sync just stops for no known reason. The "transfers" panel under "devices", where it was originally showing 700 songs or so queued up to be transfered, is then empty. There's no error message that I can see. I can restart the sync, but I get the message described in paragraph 1 above, and Winamp deleted the songs from the device that it just synced, and the process starts over.
I've seen people post about this problem in numerous places on the boards here, but there's never a solution listed. Is there any solution?
Thank you
