Seeking bar no longer working with latest DIVX codecs

I can slide the bar along and the video actually seeks properly but the bar returns to the zero position.

Windows 7 x64, latest Winamp and DIVX, VLC and Media Player aren't affected, uninstalling DIVX also fixes the issue but of course half my .AVI files are unplayable in Winamp without it.

Any Ideas?

Thanks.

I'm having the same exact issue. And it does seem to coincide with the installation of the latest DivX updates. It's driving me insane. This affects all of my AVIs. Other formats (ie. WMV, MPG, etc) don't seem to be affected.

I'm running Vista 64 bit with the latest Winamp. I just opened the DivX app and it says that it needed an update. Ran the update but still having this issue. The time slider works OK in other players (ie. Windows Media, DivX Player, etc.)

Rolling back to 8.1.1 solves the problem for now.

Seeking bar no longer working with AVI

Same problem here, although I haven't updated DIVx recently. The Seeking bar seems to be working fine with MP3 files, but not with AVI, DIVX, MP4: I can set it to the time I want but as soon as releasing mouse, it jumps to Zero, even though keeps showing the movie fine.

Maybe try rolling back a but further or perhaps try the latest Winamp, also, what version of Windows are you using?

I just rolled back my DivX to 8.1.0 and that has solved the problem. I don't see any reduction in quality or any other problems with it. The new DivX must be the cause of all of the problems. WDeranged, thank you for the suggestion!
