Winamp crashes when I use a visualization.

I just bought a new desktop with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I notice that often when I engage a visualization from either Community Picks or Winamp 5 Picks one of two things happens- either the visualization does not work at all or it works for a short period of time and then crashes Winamp 5.61.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
