Shoutcast Directory Still Not Up Aug 26 8PM PDT
As of Friday August 26 2011 at 8 P.M. PDT Shoutcast directory is still not fully functional, when searching for New Age I get 1 return as opposed to multiple pages, when searching for specific stations know to reside on your servers I get no returns.
AOL radio was not working either so I uninstalled and completely reinstalled, now AOL radio is not present in the application. |

there were issues with it still at the time you posted which were resolved about an hour after posting.
the aol radio things sounds like you're talking about the online service in Winamp which is not enabled by default, has issues (unrelated to SHOUTcast) and is likely to be removed at some point soon anyway. -daz |

I'm thinking it's still unresolved. Long time user finally having to come to the forums in search of an answer. I've had Winamp open for an hour and the Shoutcast directory is still trying to load (this has been an issue for a couple of days). I had to go and download the playlist from Shoutcast's website in order to listen to the station of choice. I'm not trying to kick the dead horse here (I've read countless posts about the new Shoutcast interface), but their problems started when they went to this new interface. My suggestion would be, if they're determined to go with this new style, bring back the one that's known to work and troubleshoot the issues with the new style.
~Just a thought... Pardon me I need to go download another playlist

I agree this is incredibly bad! I can't believe how long it's taking to resolve the issues with the directory. Stations displayed only a few? The ones with the least listeners... Please fix this ASAP!

Time Trippin Radio Missing
Our station Time Trippin Radio has been missing from the directory for many days now. I type in many other well known stations I listen to frequently and they are not there either. Why is it taking so long to resolve this problem????

Bodie / funkystar / medicalsounds: are you referring to the main SHOUTcast site or just the in-Winamp view or somewhere else? also if it is via the main site, examples of sites not working e.g. tune-in links are needed to aid verifying issues.
in either way, the issues have been back-end related (and not from things being tinkered with, just one of those fun out of the blue issues which badly cascaded) and not to do with changes in the site being used in whatever view. pperkins1: i just looked for 'Time Trippin Radio' and i'm not seeing any search results. however have you checked your DNAS logs to make sure you're getting valid YP add / touches? as i know before i stopped monitoring things properly that some v1 DNAS weren't connecting still - thought a restart of the DNAS seemed to resolve the issue for the few cases tried. -daz |

I am talking about the SHOUTcast APIs used by most iPhone and Android apps, and AOL's own SHOUTcast app for the iPhone. All APIs pretty much return ZERO stations for all genres. Search returns ZERO result for all keywords. Try the AOL SHOUTcast app yourself: it reports "No stations" for any category selection.

It's in Winamp. Media Library>Online Services>ShoutCast Radio Also, 7 Digital Music doesn't load as well. It's almost like they're not getting a response from the respective websites. I'm not having any problems with ShoutCast's website. As I said before, I went there and downloaded the station playlist that I wanted to listen to. I almost forgot to say that the other online services load up normally with no issues. |

to my knowledge, and my own tests, the Winamp online services view has been working for a few hours now, and it should also resolve the issues in 3rd party apps (is noted in the sticky threads about the service status).

Confirmed here, too. My iPhone, iPad, Android and Symbian^3 apps are to get both directory listings and API searches.

seemingly not fixed here as of Aug 30 12:03 AM EST
None of the usual streams I listen to (which I have bookmarked in Winamp and/or access from the Recently Played list) seem to be working. The streams never load...created a new thread about this, but it does seem like the issue is re-manifesting itself...
