What plug-in (s) do I need to send high resolution audio files to my outboard DAC?

Thanks for the response. O do already have it playing thru my spdif to my DAC. But when I play hi resolution files @ either 88.2hz or 96HZ my new Musical Fidelity DAC indicates it is only receiving them @ 44.1HZ. Do I need a plugin (ASIO or Wasapi?) to transmit the signal from Winamp to the DAC in high res?
