Winamp stream should be interrupted by Navigation

I often use my Android device in my car to play music while driving. I also use the navigation to get around. Navigation was recently changed to use the common media stream, and now Winamp won't allow its sound stream to get interrupted by the Navigation stream. This results in music playing in Winamp totally drowning out the navigational speech, which is a deal breaker for me with using Winamp. The built in music app (while terrible to use overall) deals with focus properly, which in itself forces me to use it instead despite its other many annoyances.

The audio focus api is documented here and it would be great for user experience for Winamp to start using it:
