Is there a way that you can view album art and trackes in the album next to the art?
I am trying to switch from Windows Media Player to Winamp and the only problem I refuse to ignore is the fact that in the media library, you can't sort by artists and see the album art with tracks right next to it.
Here is an example explaination... |

Hi inverles,
Welcome to the forum. Age is nothing but a number. I went to Woodstock when I was a teenager. Winamp is fun, with a few 3rd party plugins it's extremely fun! Any more questions, post them. I'm sure someone will try to help you, if they have an answer. |

personally, i like the 3 pane view:
albumartists = top left album art (icons) = top right songs = bottom very efficient for me. i do a 4 pane version for genres, where genres become the top left, and the others then move over, except songs which are still on the bottom. For those new to Winamp,
MrSinatra is referring to the Big Bento skin (a user interface for Winamp). If seeing all that info at once is confusing, you can right-click on the player and select another skin that displays things differently. If you don't like any of the skins included in the standard installation, there are dozens more available on the main site. There are tons of ways to use Winamp and a lot of options. Until you learn your way around, I suggest you keep a written log of any changes you make to the defaults. Much easier than trying to remember what you did days later if you decide to undo it. Also helps you explain things if you come to the forum for help. IMO, Winamp is not a 'copy-cat, me too' media player/manager. There are a few holes and some rough spots, but overall it does a fine job. Explore, try stuff, have FUN !!! |
