Cool WinAmp and Andriod on home LAN
Winamp seems to wreak havoc on a Home WiFi/wired network that is also connected to DVR's. The DVR's stay in 'reboot' mode, etc.

With Winamp and the cell phone connected to the WiFi network the DVR's go haywire.

Immediate solution is to remove the Winamp app from the phone.
