at least personally, if i can get my roommate to go with me it helps more than you think being motivated to go on a daily bike ride.

@ Ted, how much did you wind up spending total on it?
i'm sure it's much more than your mother will need but.... well...frankly i'm having trouble believing you didn't just buy a pre-assembled one, you left a few pieces of bloat as well as your post indicates.
