Tracks skip with new update

I am having a slightly related issue. In seemingly random occasions, when I find an album and long-press to select Play, the album will start with the second song in the album. Sometimes it's the very beginning of the second song and sometimes it's even in the middle of the second song. Anyone run into this issue before?

Note I am running Liberty3 but the issue actually started before I went off the latest official Gingerbread OS.
