submitting skin

ok i know how to submit a skin but when i upload it it says that it's not a valid skin archive. I know for a fact that the extension for my skin is right but why won't it let me upload it?

Can you provide a link to your skin file?, maybe upload it to some personal web space so we can have a look at the archive and maybe find out what's wrong, if anything, with it?
