Winamp 5.623 won't accept HTTP links

That might be good advice for people running a newer OS.

I'm running Windows XP Pro. On the compatibility tab there is no "run as admin".

Something about Winamp is preventing the link from being dropped. Instead of the usual "copy" icon with the little plus symbol, I get a crossed circle. This tells me Winamp does not want to accept the link.

On my other machine the process works fine.
