Win7 with multiple sc_trans instances
Here we are again =(
After facing "song change lagging problem" i decided to try move from Winamp+DSP to sc_trans. Everything was fine with setting it up and configuring playlists, but now i am facing another problem. I need to run multiple streams with different music. The only way i think is to run several instances of sc_trans and connect them to different ids of sc_serv But when i try launch second instance of sc_trans i see this "Panic" message box: "logger could not open file F:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Temp\sc_trans.log" So, every new instance of sc_trans is trying to read same temprorary log file. Could someone help me, or mayve give some advices or tips? =( Also Im testing my radio on local Win7, but going to move it on WinXp server. Also Sorry for my bad english knowledge |

yes you need to have a separate sc_trans instance for different stream content.
your error is due to sc_trans trying to use the same log file for each new instance - you need to change the logfile config option for each sc_trans instance so they don't duplicate. since if sc_trans cannot access the specified the file set by logfile (either from it not being valid filepath or not having the correct access), it will attempt to use %temp%\sc_trans.log. however, i still think you're going to be getting the stuttering issue even with using sc_trans. -daz |

I tried to change logfile options, i even used log=0 option in basic config
But error occurs right after i launch sc_trans second instance, so i am not able to choose config file! |

you need to specify the log file directly (as per the documentation says to do normally - the selecting of the config file is not meant to be used normally) e.g. drag + drop the conf file onto sc_serv.exe or manually specify it on the command-line.
