Task manager shows multiple instances of winamp.exe
I apparently have a conflict with Winamp and some other application. Even though I disabled running multiple instances within the Winamp options, my task manager shows multiple instances are running and one of them takes up 25% of my considerable processor resources. I also cannot see the Winamp GUI unless I disable that instance in Task Manager, a pain in the neck.
I'm running Windows 7 pro on a quadcore Intel machine and have the latest version of Winamp (5.623). On a different machine also running Windows 7 and the same audio applications and the same version of Winamp I have no problems. Any words of advice? Thanks |

this happens and no one knows why, and also related problems when closing winamp, etc... i think it might be a plugin issue but no one has proved anything yet. u can find other threads on this.
