Why doesn't this work
For years I've used Shoutcast to broadcast my personal radio station. This is just for me to listen to or a few select friends. For example I would go to work and open Windows Media player and go to File > Open URL, I would enter Http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000, where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx was the ip address of the Shoutcast server in my home. This always worked great.
Last weekend I decided to replace the Shoutcast server with a newer machine running Windows 7. I downloaded the tools, bought the license to broadcast mp3's. I followed the instructions for getting it up and running and I think it is running fine but I can not connect to the stream at all. I've attached my log files and my .conf files plus a .jpg that shows that the DSP is transmitting something. the log files show that traffic is getting through my firewall to the server but not finding a stream. Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Did you reconfigure your router or static IP address so that the port is re-forwarded to the correct IP address of the new Windows 7 machine?

also in addition to thinktink's post, you do have a valid authhash for the stream(s) yes? (from http://wiki.winamp.com/wiki/SHOUTcas...ash_Management) -daz |
