Radio Station Name not found in Shoutcast directory
Hi ,
I have already started my online radio station and also people can join and listen. Now I want it to be listed in the Shoutcast directory. I checked couple of posts on this Forum and found valuable information. But in my case all the criterion meet, still the name of my station does not appear in the list. my Stream URL is : http://kohm.listen2myradio.com server address : 217.147.86.166:12754 The DNAS status shows, UP and PUBLIC. The config settings are : PublicServer=default AllowRelay=Yes AllowPublicRelay=Yes I use Winamp for playing songs and also named my Radio Station as KOHM Online Radio. Currently my server and streaming is OFF. Can anyone please help ??? |

your post is somewhat contradictory.
you're saying the server is showing as being 'up and public' but then say that the 'server and streaming is off'. if the server is off then it won't appear in the Directory results and without it running there is nothing which can be checked about it. -daz |

Hello Daz,
Sorry for the contradiction. Actually I wanted to say that currently the server is not on. The time I posted the thread it was not on. Now my radio is streaming and it says "Server Status: Server is currently up and public." But when I search my radio name in the Shout cast directory, no results. Am using DSP plugin with winamp. Can you give me some points on why it may not be reflecting in the directory ?? also let me know where exactly we give Radio Station name ? -Akshay |

i'm assuming you've stopped it again. without it running there is nothing i can do to check in the backend systems to see what is or isn't going on with the listing.
other than you looking at / providing the log output to see if there are any errors reported (assuming you have access to it), there's little i can suggest. -daz |
