I don't know what the link between sc_trans and sc_serv is, but I'd assume it was v2 by default (or is it the other way around?).
I added configuration files earlier so if you notice something fishy in there please let me know, but we've been connecting to through sc_trans v2 when DJing for a while now. |

The XML broke again. I was online at the time watching the song list and XML file. Here's what I noticed that was very weird.
First, I skipped a song ("Sam B - Who do you voodoo, Bitch") using the transcoder (I don't think that had anything to do with it though, as it typically just fails randomly and skipping songs w/ the transcoder has always worked). The XML file didn't update (it stayed the same as the previous song) all through the next song (which I let play through in full). Then a jingle played. Then another song started and the XML still did not update (stayed the same as the song I initially skipped). I skipped another song with the transcoder and then I went to /admin.cgi?mode=viewxml&page=5&sid=1 which was now fully broken: Quote:

I'm enabling full debug mode now and resetting the server. |

as for the failure, there's got to be something in the metadata being sent over for it to lock on the previous update or just not show anything - as the minimal response is typical for a cleared metadata cache. will see if i can replicate anything with that part of the title though am hoping the full title response from the logs will make things easier to determine the cause. does seem weird how it takes so long to appear - are you working with a fixed / periodic playlist order of the same files? -daz |

There is the main log file. It's very long (385,000 lines). The lines you're looking for are around 119,000, specifically: Quote:
