Yeah, unfortunately I missed most of what would be referred to the "good ol' days". I used winamp since a little before the minibrowser was released, and oddly enough still use it a lot.

I don't know of very many online communities where people meet online having never met in real life, and stick around each other online for this long, especially where most of the topics have nothing to do with the forum's original purpose. It is a lot like a drug or addiction, but not harmful.

That's one of the things I like about here. Most people don't bother with the memes, except when they generally are very entertaining. Other sites/forums use them to the point where you just want to damage your computer each time you see them, which is why I usually avoid other places.
