Mic Broadcasting

Hey guys,

Im newish to Shoutcast.. I wonder if anyone here could help me out with this problem im having..

I'm currently running Shoutcast DNAS v2, with winamp v5.623 and im running Windows 7 Ultimate. I have a headset and when I go to broadcast through the mic, it works. but when I take off push-to-talk, they can still hear me talking and they can hear typing. I have set it up correctly, so I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem because it is really starting to annoy me!

clearly, you haven't, but don't despair, you are far from being alone ... windows 7 audio is a minefield of disappointments ... until the shoutcast DSP can actually control the audio levels etc in windows 7, you'll be hard pressed getting it to work as you want

until then, your best hope is livewire - http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=319929

General Shoutcast troubleshooting guide
  1. Ask a teenager
That should do it

Just thought I should say Thank you, the LiveWire sorted my mic broadcasting out and put the finishing touches to my radio station!
