bluetooth controls don't work?

searched 1st and the thread i saw was from feb and april with people asking for a fix.

i have an SGS2 running ICS and while doubletwist etc works fine with my headset, winamp doesn't. it completely ignores the commands. i uninstalled doubletwist, the stock music app and it's still the same (and yes i selected that option for winamp to control the headset).

i even moved the apk into system/app just in case but it just freaked out.

is there a fix for this or am i looking at going back to doubletwist? maybe installing a 1.1x version if someone has a link to an apk?
