winamp no longer controls headset after updating to ICS

updated my xperia mini pro to ICS a few days ago and ever since then the headset controls will not work with winamp, the setting is selected in the options but if i press it it opens and plays using the default player, if i uninstall that then nothing loads at all, is it a bug? thanks

I have the same problem. I have a Galaxy S3 running Android 4.0.4 and when I use the controls on my Bluetooth headphones, it fires up the stock player.

Apparently Winamp needs to be updated to handle the different events (play/pause single event was broken up into separate play and pause events).

Thanks for the confirmation

There's quite a few ICS-related fixes in v1.3
and undoubtedly more to come in v1.3.1+

I bought Winamp Pro 5 days ago, but I uninstalled it because of this issue and switched to a different player. I've just tried to reinstall it as the issue is fixed, except it asks me to pay again. What's going on there?

Well on HTC Sensation ICS 4.0.4 when I press once it plays/pauses, but when I double-press it plays the next song as well as calls my last number in phone history.
