This plugin is infected with a trojan horse:
http://www.winamp.com/plugin/asio-output-plugin/156466 File: out_asio.dll https://www.virustotal.com/file/db5c...c92a/analysis/ Yeah, I know the detection rate is only 1/43, but note this: This is the only program installed within 7 days on my computer, and I was hit with a nasty rogue ware within an hour of installing this. Besides the rogue ware itself, this is the only other infected file on my system. All roads, at least on my end, point back to this file. |

I installed the plugin onto my computer. I did not get infected as the stated trojan says I should have:

If you need ASIO output for Winamp, I would stick with Otachan's driver. I have been using it for years with no issues. There is even a 64-bit version of the driver. Additionally, all source code is included.
Page is here: http://otachan.com/ Click the links under WINAMP5 for: out_asio(exe).dll (exe version) Ver. 0.70 or out_asio(x64).dll (x64 version) Ver. 0.71 Depending on your needs. |
