Sync Issues with Winamp and Rockbox

Hello, I am looking for some answers on how to solve this issue I have run into. I just recently switched for using iTunes and an iPod to using Winamp and Rockbox. The difficulty I have is that I cannot use the pmp_usd.dll plugin to manage my "rockPod." Instead, I have to use the pmp_ipod.dll plugin and this is causing the issue. For what ever reason, Winamp it seems will not see my "rockPod" as a portable device and only sees it as an iPod. Therefore, when I attepmt to sync it with Winamp, it won't sync because wherever the music would normally be stored if I was using iTunes to manage my iPod is no longer there because I removed the music files when I installed Rockbox. My question then is there a way to either manage an iPod as a portable device instead as an iPod or is there a way to change where the pmp_ipod.dll plugin saves transferred files?
