Playlist Woes

So i have winamp for android and have thus far been using it without issue, however today i've found a couple of issues

Firstly, winamp refuses to sync and update my android playlist, the playlist displays correctly in winamp on my PC and changes take effect and it shows songs being copied over etc, however within the android application its not seeing the changed playlist at all and the .m3u playlist that exists within the music folder doesn't seem to even open with winamp in the first place.

Secondly

Why the flip can't i add a currently playing track to an existing playlist, how is such a basic feature not present in the android version?

I can open songs via a file explorer with winampe but there appears to be no menu for simply adding that song to a playlist and no way to manually browse the contents of my SD card from within winamp either, these are basic free features and even my free PC winamp works far better than this -.-

Any help to resolve both of these issues is appreciated or i might have to look in to finding a music application that actually works
