i get this error message when media library rescans:

Winamp Library error

Error updating DB file on disk.

I had that (or at least something very similar) happen to me when I upgraded Winamp from 5.3something to 5.63.

I clicked "Clear Media Library" (on Options tab) and then clicked the Rescan button. Haven't seen the error since.

Maybe that help?
