You are aware of course that false positives are quite normal with virus detection software. And when speaking about plugins and etc. Of course it can be falsely reported as a virus; the DFX Plugin is a resource scanner and as a result will be occassionally reported as a virus.
In my property scans of the plugin (all report that the plugin is virus/malware free): Kaspersky McAfee Symantec Avast (w/ all updates) AVG Avira Eset Panda BitDefender TrendMicro Microsoft Security Essentials If you have a virus in your plugin I would suggest you delete it and 'redownload' the original DFX Plugin directly from Winamp. Once you do this then register your 'licensed' copy of DFX correctly with the publisher of that commercial plugin. Generally, the file would only be corrupt/virus is if a keygen had been run to install it.
