Bump. I have bought Winamp, and it says that "For now, the only way to view and play FLAC files in Winamp for Android is by navigating to the file using the browse by “Folders” navigation.". This is not true, I am not able to play flac files through Folders either. It just crashes.

No FLAC?

One of the main reasons I love winamp is its ability to play FLAC. If the android app can't handle FLAC it loses a lot of value to me. Is there anything I can do to help?

BUG #1 = Winamp skips short tracks
Wish #1 = Multiple Column Sorting

See this thread:http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=348480

some lines from it:

Finally got the phone. Great news. It ALL WORKS.

I got Samsung Galaxy S3. I loaded external Micro SD card with 63GB of FLAC music ripped by Winamp with 1400x1400 pixels album art. Plugged the card in the phone, and all of it is instantly visible by Winamp for android. And yes, i bought Winamp-Pro mainly for an amazing 10 band EQ which is a must if you are using any earbuds.

Yes, i opened empty micro SD (64GB) card i just bought by going to my computer, and selecting it. I got it with SD card adapter, and my laptop has SD card slot, so it poped up as an empty external storage right away.

I dragged and dropped FLAC music folders from my computer to this card. These folders were created by winamp on my laptop which i used to ripp all my CDs (see first post)
I did not want to use winamp to do music transfer to the phone or card in any way.

No, none of the album art is embedded to FLAC files. They are separate JPEG i added through winamp manually. I did it because i wanted to pick and add only album art of higher resolution, and of my choice from internet. It was quite a bit of work, but now i'm happy. It is connected to each song via m3u file that winamp creates while ripping. One per CD.
