Setting up own server to stream audio....problem.....

Alright it's taken me 3 weeks to figure out to get to where I am now.

Lets start off in the beginning. I had no clue how to do it, basically gave up. I had no idea where sc_serv.ini was, but found out it is able to be done by SHOUTcast2 Config Builder. Only problem is, when I goto click download on the bottom for DNAS configuration file or Transcoder configuration file, I cannot do it. So I copy & pasted the DNAS & saved it to a file named sc_serv.conf , and saved the transcoder configuration file to sc_trans.conf . I put in the MP3 transcoder information in the files as well that I purchased so it knows I'm transcoding. The "Stream URL" is still " http://www.shoutcast.com which yeh I think is a problem.

In WinAMP, SHOUTcast DSP Source, Server address is my IP, port 8000 (I havent forwarded it yet), DJ user ID i just gave a one I wanted to have, and the password is the password I put in the configuration builder. Under directory I have make this stream public, name is testing, no URL, encoder is MP3.

Someone for the love of god help me >_<
