Help needed on Playlist use

When i click on PLAYLISTS box on main Winamp screen on my phone, i get a huge list of every album i have on my phone. Why does this happen, and can i erase all this mess. I just wanna see few playlists with songs i put in them for different purposes, like working out, running, etc.

Also, I created one playlist and put few songs in there, and i used it couple of times. Now, a month later that playlist is empty. What could have happened? I did not remove anything nor changed locations of my files.

Lastly, on my computer Winamp, every CD I rip ends up on playlist as well.
