playlist file needs to associate files in new directory

hi guys,

need someone to help me out with the playlist ive made on my desktop and now i want to access the same list (copied to laptop) on my laptop (all mp3s on laptop).

basically on my old computer it was c:/mp3s now all my mp3s on my laptop are on d:/mp3

how do i get the play list to pick up the files from d:/

there has to be a way i cant replace each one manually

Hi

Open the playlist file in Notepad.
Use the Find & Replace feature to replace all instances of C:\mp3s with D:\mp3s
(note it's a backslash, not a forwardslash).

Save the m3u playlist, and you should be good to go...
