Playlist updates from Android to PC

Hi, Really enjoying Winamp. After a huge search for my preferred Android/ PC music player, Winamp came out on top.

Only problem I am having is with getting playlist changes, which have been carried out on the phone, to update back onto the PC. Specifically,

- Playlists created on Android (2.2 and 4.1) do not show up in Local Playlist view on PC (only on Device playlist when Device is connected)
- Adding tracks to existing Playlists on Android (whether Playlist created on PC or Phone) also do not update back to Local/ PC view.

I've seen a lot of posts about Local/ PC Playlist -> Phone problems (which works for me!), but no answer for Phone -> PC direction not working for Playlist updates.

I've tried WiFi and USB link, as well as installing app on Internal Memory and SD card. No joy. Everything else works perfect!

Does anyone have any ideas?

OK I figured it out. MediaMonkey + Player Pro.

Unfortunately it is not as elegant as Winamp, in terms of other functionality, as well as look and feel (of MediaMonkey).

But this requirement was at the top of my list so had to switch.

it's because device playlists are separate from library playlists (yes that probably is counter-intuitive but that's just how it's been implemented). whether that'll change or not i just cannot say as it would make sense but as it's two separate plug-ins doing the device and playlists handling, unless they're changed to work with one another (and ensuring that paths in the playlists work as expected), it's not a simple change to do in Winamp as-is.

not ideal you need to use something else but if Winamp isn't doing it right for you then you're best using the best tool for the job needed.
