Songlist Duplicated, Half of Songs Unplayable

Strange thing happened on my Winamp for Android. My entire music collection is on "external" storage (flash storage I put in the phone's expansion slot). Winamp found all that music. But when I browse any way (by song, artist, album, etc.) all songs are listed twice. One of them is playable and the other is not. It's like the metadata was duplicated with one instance of each song pointing to nothing.

I deleted all the songs on the expansion card. Now half the songs are gone: the good ones. Winamp retains the metadata for every song that used to be on the phone. But none of the songs are valid.

I tried going to Settings->Applications->Winamp and cleared all application data and cache. The bad metadata remains. How do I clear it?
