Controlling winamp from Treadmill

Hi

I have a treadmill which has some volume and skipping track forward and back buttons but I think they are for Apple products.

Is there a way I can get the controls to work with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for winamp.
Either something which can map the signal from Apple to Android either in software or hardware?

If winamp can do it can someone point me to the right place.
