Nullsoft SHOUTcast source DSP v2.3.2 bug or ?

Im using winamp 5.63 and shoutcast plugin 2.3.2 build 190
Windows XP SP3

Setup shoutcast v1 mode
Setup encoder for mp3 in format 128kbps/44100/stereo
All works fine when streaming music.

When press pause or stop, silent frames are sending from plugin to the server to prevent listeners disconect, but the rate on which this silent frames are sent are huge and not match settings on encoder.

So this silent stream hit maximum limit rate on the server, but players know stream is 128kbps stream.

Is this bug or im wrong somewhere ? is there anything I can do on winamp side or server side to prevent this happaning ?

it should be matching the encoded audio rate vs silent filler rate though maybe there is a bug in the handling. the best that can be done is i log it and if development of the plug-in restarts then it might be looked into.

Thank you for fast reply dro

If I can help you with some loging im on.

This makes server's internal buffer to be fill up constantly, becouse plugin send data faster than client's player take, and after server queue is full client will be kicked from the server. The other effect is that latency is increasing.
