sc_trans linux commands

Does sc_trans have commands on linux ? I mean something like ./sc_trans -showcurentsong or how can I retrive info from sc_trans on linux ? Let say that I put sc_trans in background and now I want to know some information about curent song or something else . How can I do that ?

do you have php running? can you code php?
there are some scripts floating around for what you want
that query and store info in an array and you can get
all the server and listener data.
