replay gain just using phone

Hi,
New to the forum.
I have spent some time searching stickys and faq's but have not found my answer.
I have a prepaid Virgin Mobile Motorola Triumph with Froyo 2.2
I have been using the free version of winamp for a while now but I upgraded to Pro to equalize the volume levels using Replay Gain.
I loaded winamp on my pc, imported my music files from windows media player since I use that as my music file backup for my phone.
I can't sync my phone to Winamp on the PC, sits there in discovery mode forever.
Both are connected to Wifi on the same Belkin router.
I tried connecting the phone directly to the pc with the USB cable, that did not work.
Can I apply the Replay Gain using just the phone?
