No song in playlist or Can't play song error

I have been using Winamp on my Optimus V for about 2 years and haven't had a problem until now.

I usually listen to all of my songs shuffled and within the past couple weeks it randomly stops after playing several songs, and an error will pop up saying "No song in playlist." This has happened a few times and I just go back to the main screen, choose the song library again, and it would play fine. Which was still a very annoying occurrence. However, today when an error said "Can't play song" it seemed to be the same bug except it never really recovered and seemed to freeze up, eventually causing me to restart my phone.

I haven't tried reinstalling it yet, but I was wondering if anything would get lost besides a playlist I don't care about.

there have been a few issues being worked on
recommend trying the beta version located at top of the forum to see if the issue resolves
it seems that program gets killed out for memory

thanks rob

A few days ago I started having problems with my sd card and tried formatting it. I am not sure if this could be related to my problem with Winamp. I have only used Winamp a couple times since so I am not sure if it has made a difference.

ive only once had that issue where the card quit working
i took it out and formatted on the computer and issues went away
if card still has issues it could cause problems in winamp as it looks at that card for music storage as some phones store music on internal and external cards

thanks rob
