we fixed the crash on media import which was introduced from one of the security fixes in v5.64 which we missed and if that had happened then everything with v5.64 would have been good.

I don't know anything about points b and c you've mentioned (would need clarification though if b relates to 3rd party plug-ins then there's little to be done about it). and point a is possible with the v5.7 beta with its crash reporter which helps us to track down the causes of crashes though is unlikely to make sense to most users - as the error message you get otherwise is what the OS provides.
