When I right-click and go down to the skins menu, and the thingie pops out, my skins (I have about 15) are listed in some apparently random order. How can I get it to alphabetize them by filename? I have a bunch of Saber Marionette skins and I want it to list them alphabetically by character to make it easier to find which one I want. I know I can just use the skin browser, but the pop-up menu is easier.

It is sorrted by modified date (I think) so they appear in the order that you added them. There is no wasy way to sort this. Let me look around and see if I can find a simple utilitey

I don't know; I just opened my skins folder and sorted those by modified date, and it's a completely different order than I get in the pop-up menu.

Move all the skins to a temp directory (any one will do), and that starting with the skin you want to be listed first, click on them and they will be installed again in the default directory in the order you want them. After that you can delete the ones in the temp directory.

Didn't work... in the order I want them listed, I added, then deleted, a file from each zip archive, thereby altering the "modifed" date. But they're still listed in the same screwy order that makes no sense at all.

Areb your skins in zip or wsz format? (*.zip or *.wsz?)

If they are zip, just rename them to wsz and try again, it worked for me that way.

Forgot one thing, start winamp after you take the skins out of the default directory. It will start with the base skin. I think this might clear some registry or something and then reinstall.

Figured it out finally... it's not the date modified order, but the order in which they're added to the folder. (Figured this out by adding a later-modified file to the file before one with an earlier modification date. That ain't so painful!!

Would I be able to make a group of them come out in a popup menu of their own, out of the skin popup, or is that asking too much?
